Yoga Sangraha
Sun Salutations:
A Contemporary Approach to an Ancient Practice

Sunday October 11
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Discover a contemporary, science-informed approach to classical yoga that honors both tradition and the nervous system.

Meaning “collection” or “compendium” in Sanskrit, Yoga Sangraha brings together classical Haṭha Yoga techniques in thoughtfully structured, repeatable sequences designed to support a steady and accessible practice.

In this special two-hour class, Harshvardan will guide us through Sūrya Namaskār — Sun Salutations, exploring a variety of sequences and variations within the Yoga Sangraha approach. The practice will emphasize stability, awareness, and adaptability, offering options for different levels of experience.

Alongside the physical practice, we will explore the philosophical foundations of yoga and the traditional reverence for the Sun as a source of life, light, and vitality.

An opportunity to experience Sūrya Namaskār not simply as a sequence of movements, but as a practice connecting breath, body, awareness, and the enduring symbolism of the Sun.
